Has worked with development in Southern Greenland, and has previously held posts in Nepal and Bangladesh lasting several years for Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark/Danida, and as a country representative for a Danish NGO in Hanoi, Vietnam. Presently since February 2014, he is working as a Business Development Manager in Kujalleq Municipality. Has previously been a member of the board of Greenland’s Tourist and Business Council, committee member of the NORA committee, and also of the NATA board. Is the chairman of and owns together with Pitsi Høegh the tourism company Greenland Sagalands A/S in Qaqortoq, South Greenland.

JOHANNE MARGRETHE BECH, Board member

Johanne was born and raised in Sisimiut. She worked as a Dental Technician 1977-85 and as a Hairdresser from 1990-96. She became a board member of Sisimiut Tourist Association in the 1980’ies and a board member of Sisimiut Dogsled Association in the 1990’ies. Started as a professional hunter in 1996. Since 1996 she has worked as an Outfitter with tourists and trophy hunters.
Johanne was 2008-11 board member of Sisimiut Hunters and Fishermens Association and member of the National Council for Gender Equality.
Árni Gunnarsson, Board member
Managing Director of Air Iceland
Árni was appointed Managing Director of Air Iceland in March 2005. He previously worked as Director of Sales and Marketing at Air Iceland, Managing Director at Iceland Travel Bureau/ITB, Managing Director of Iceland Travel and Director of Icelandair Holidays. He worked for the German Tour Operator FTI in Munich as director of Risk Management in 1993-1997. Árni graduated in Economics from Augsburg University, Germany. He was Chairman of the Icelandic Travel Industry Association from 2008 until 2014 and he is a member of the board of ERA, European Regional Airline Association since 2014. Árni is Chairman of the Greenlandic – Iceland Chamber of Commerce since 2015.
SAKIKO DAORANA, Board member

MA in English language and literature, Ochanomizu University
Worked 17 years in the Advertising department of Suntory Ltd. Japan and moved to Greenland in 1998. Was Marketing Coordinator for the Arctic Winter Games 2002. Worked as Assistant Information Coordinator in Greenland Tourism in 2003 and as Manager of Tourism for Qaanaaq Municipality 2004-2007. Since 2007 she has worked as Marketing Coordinator at Air Greenland.
Erik Bjerregaard, Board member
Born April 3, 1942 in Brønderslev, Denmark
Bachelor of Commerce from Copenhagen Business School
38 years of Greenlandic management experience, including 15 years in Air Greenland, as well as the last 23 years as CEO of Hotel Arctic Ilulissat.
In two previous occasions, been a director (deputy chairman), Visit Greenland.
Is Chairman of INUILI, Greenland School of Hospitality in Narsaq.
Is the Deputy Chairman of Association of Hotel, Tourism and restaurants at Greenland Business
Is a board member of the Greenlandic construction company Atcon / EMJ A / S in Nuuk
Is honorary Italian consul.
